Back in the day, some of our team worked on the Telltale Interloper, an email newsletter fashioned after a tabloid.

In addition to news from around the studio, the Interloper had some regular features including the Order Up! cooking column and everybody’s favorite advice column, Dear Max. 🧵👇

How about a little random late night Sam & Max media? When finishing up the remastered edition of The Devil's Playhouse, we almost added this beat to the opening credits, to show a glimpse of the inside of Max's mind and add an extra title card spot for the remaster... but decided not to.

Sam & Max, the dog and rabbity-thing crime-fighting duo also known as the Freelance Police, wielding a big gun (Sam) and a baseball bat (Max) from their moving De Soto. This artwork first appeared on Telltale Games' website soon after they announced plans to make episodic games based on the franchise.

Twenty years ago this week, Telltale announced that they'd signed a deal with Steve Purcell to make episodic Sam & Max games. Time flies!

In honor of this momentous occasion, all three Sam & Max remasters are on sale on Steam, PlayStation, and Switch. (Sorry Xbox peeps, we'll get you next time!)
