Great seeing Edu back tonight even if it was in a 4-1 loss. The fact is we need better wingers and a quality striker. We’re not doing anything noteworthy without upgrades this summer. #AllForCity

Gutted for Célio just as he got his first start of the year. Hope he fully recovers as soon as medically possible. #AllForCity
Thanks for the stats. It’s been close!
Has it ever happened in MLS that a single player has outscored an entire team before?
Gotcha. It is impressive. People in LAFC’s post match press conference on YouTube though were still calling for Dos Santos’ removal. 😔
We kept 4 straight clean sheets to open 2025.
1 goal in the first 4 games has to be one of the worst stats in MLS history. But we should have had one. Thanks ref. Subs and sub timing was a huge issue tonight. You could see the team getting gassed before the goals. Seeing Mbacke would’ve been nice.
Next week is a must win. #AllForCity
Rest in peace, Ilona. I’m happy the club was considerate in allowing Edu to be with his wife as often as possible during these difficult months.
Only three subs?
Is the actual soccer more enjoyable? Yes, except the end when we had zero ideas what to do. Is the lack of ability to score proving to be a real problem and not just an anticipation based on selling Klauss without a proper replacement? Also yes. Frustrating as hell to watch overall. #AllForCity
There was a lot of good on the pitch today. More aggressive, possession-forward soccer. We had many chances to win, but finishing continues to be our problem. If we can stay above water until the summer transfer window, I’m hoping Corey will bring in the remaining pieces we need to make a late push.
Things to look forward to and grow on, but we’ve said that before. Finishing continues to be an issue. I just hope we can continue positive progress and not make the same mistakes as always. #AllForCity
It’s good to be back! #AllForCity
Well, in the last two years’ preseasons we did pretty well, yet then went on to have terrible full season records. Perhaps our poor performances this year will bring the inverse. I’m not expecting a strong start, that’s for sure.
I know “preseason games don’t matter,” but we can glean some things from these matches. Plus, it’s good to see #AllForCity again. We missed you. Go City!
Certainly this is the case; they’ve talked enough about Polvara coming in as a CB.
I look at it this way: I don’t think it can be worse than 2025. Yoann is yet to be determined, but the signings so far seem pretty solid, so I have faith in Corey making the decisions. I’m just looking to see the building of something new and hopefully better than what we saw the last two seasons.
I’ve already prepared myself mentally. I don’t blame Löwen. It’s an unfortunate circumstance. We’re missing key pieces with or without him.
I took that to mean the rumors of a falling out between him and Diego were true. And if they don’t reinvest in a center forward this window, it’s going to be a rough half season.
Who do you see as depth for Totland? Wallem moving over or Sangbin (I believe he played as RWB at times for MNU) doesn’t seem ideal. I also have concerns about how much Teuchert will be able to play. Hopefully we see him in preseason.
Hopefully we get some sideline footage of this achievement later 😉
Some good news would be nice after consecutive days of bad luck and heart break.
Sounds like Kessler will not be returning, unfortunately. But I’m liking this pick up. Defense was certainly a priority this offseason window with good signings at CDM, CB, and LB (likely where Wallem will be put). I’m excited to see all of this come together under Damet! #AllForCity
It’s going to be worrying if there’s no news soon. Pre-season opens in two weeks.
Seeming less likely Critchley stays with the first team as an assistant right now
Welcome Yoann!
Is it just me or is it that in some pictures, he looks a hell of a lot like David Critchley?
#AllForCity
I was hoping for Critchley unless we could get someone with proven success as a HC. Out of all of the leaked finalists, there weren’t any with proven HC success, so Critch was my hope. Wishing for the best and that 2026 isn’t a sequel to 2025 when we went with a risky outside pick instead of Hack.
Matt, have you heard anything about a press conference?
I think you were the first to break this 😉
