I had an experience with my Medical Alert company recently.
They offered me a chance to "lock in" my current monthly rate by charging me $20/month more to ensure my current rate would remain the same in the event of potential inflation in the future. What?

So, Amazon is gouding vendors to increase their prices to other sellers (Best Buy, Target, Chewy, etc) so Amazon doesn't have to compete by lowering their prices. Am I getting it right?
So the prices are higher everywhere for everyone.
There is no competition. No choices for the consumer.
