Porn and erotica are important and societally valuable forms of speech, and the defense of them, in the face of state and church attempts at repression, is a necessary political act.

I’m pretty clumsy compared to some of the incredible micro painters I’ve seen do alters. But I’m still doing something.

All American artists should live in LA, NYC or Chicago (Im sorry other cities). And those cities should compete to gain the most amount of artists.

2-9 are the good ones. Some will say 3-8 but 2 and 9 are still good.

Tiktok folk singer. I really dig him. But he definitely has a machine gun approach to song writing. But some are really good.

I’m near the front. That floating chewed bubble gum monster troubles me.

I liked when James Baxter used to do occasional guest spots on animated TV shows. I assume studios had a bat signal for him, except instead of a static bat it was a horse running in perspective towards the camera while the camera rotated around it

I feel like hearing about very human problems from folks I admire helps me get through my own troubled times with a bit more confidence and grace.

But it I get the hesitation in personal posts.

Convention artists in LA, what are all the big and small ones you usually apply for here every year and what month are they in? I'm in Burbank but can drive out inside the county.

probably fine that media is increasingly just people with established careers bringing their friends onto their underfunded reader-supported projects. we don't need to train new talent, there are so many people who want to do the work and the substack combat pits will weed out the weak

I dropped a poster tube in the #sdcc exhibit hall trying to get a signature. The poster inside has 2 dozen autographs collected at events in multiple states and countries. The tube has a name and address on it, it’s easy to id; but I’m devastated, I feel like such an idiot. #sdcclostandfound

I wrote and drew a comic about a man who sees Bigfoot as a child and it ruins his life. It’s short, and I think the most emotional story I’ve ever made. #comics #art #bigfoot

I feel like smartphones where the last consumer gadget that actually improved the average person's life in a measurable way. Ever since then tech companies have been creating new problems in order to have a solution to sell.
