@npr.org Hello! Are transcripts no longer going to be available for Short Wave podcasts? I use them a lot in a class I teach! 😢

What a great listen! Sam and Phil are a sublime combination! New fan of @stighefootball.bsky.social
It's really is! Hope you make it to the Chain of Lakes!

This!
😂 🥰
I also think his two red cards this season and antics are NOT winning any favor with Arteta. The player temperament matters a lot at Arsenal.
Only if you come to the Twin Cities! Still salty... 😉
Still no MSP 😢
😂
Some great ideas here!
Love the Quick Sort! Trying that one soon!
I did not have that on my bingo card.
Just found it today and listened to the first episode! Sounds like something I need to incorporate into my communication about science seminar!
Although incredibly frustrating, how much of this is certain players just in a “slump?”(vs tactics, certain players have plateaued, trying too hard, can’t execute game plan, players of low quality, etc.). After you have a great season by all measures (even not winning!), sometimes it’s just hard…
Check out Minnesota United! It’s not the starry night but it’s pretty awesome and not cookie-cutter!
I worry this is our problem. We’re looking for the house with specs in the top 5% of possibilities, within a radius of 6 blocks. Too closed off to a good prospectus who will net a few more goals and give our front a rest?!? 🤷🏼♀️😳
What a great read!
What a day. 🥰
Phew! 🥰
Yes, says this Canadian in Minnesota!
This was excellent! I’m using this in both of my college courses! 🥰 special shout to you all!
Yup. The other team wants to win too. And much of the time, they scout well and come up with a reasonable to excellent approach to win and/or stop their opponent. The “We didn’t play well” sentiment is often because the other team did a good job disrupting 😉
Could you? In my final notecard activity, I ask students to share if someone deserves EC for being important to their learning. There’s a lot of small group discussion so not everything is shared in the full class. When I assign grades, I always email students who were nominated and share why 🥰
Ha! I saw the word “bookkeeper” as I was fast scrolling and immediacy though of EB. And then laughed out loud that you referenced it! 🥰
After concept maps to answer the Essential Question, I read Ish by Peter Reynolds. Less than 30 students but there is also a video version which I mute and read for a larger audience, and share some of the points that I hope they take away. 🥰
I’ve missed you posting about Arsenal!

Video screen activity with photo of Forest Green Rovers, referencing their sustainability efforts.
Only favorites because Forest Green was relegated to the national league 😉 but those sustainability leaders (says the Smithsonian!) are coming back!
Oh, which pods are you listening to?
Excited to see you here!
