Laura Loomer‘s tweet: Alligator lives matter. The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we get started now.

The entire Latino population in the U.S. is 65 million. She means all of us.

writing an article about how the number one priority of a real opposition party in the United States should be a Nuremberg-style set of trials for trumpism, titling it “I Think We’re Gonna Have to Kill This Guy, Steven.” which outlet will be brave enough to publish

Which means a baby born in New York to undocumented parents will be a citizen. But a baby born to undocumented parents in Kentucky will not be a citizen.

This is madness.

truly evil shit happening in my city, my heart breaks for the 50k in prison, half with no criminal record, 7 dead, all for the crime of being a minority.

Zohran looking out on a victory night crowd.

In the words of Nelson Mandela: it always seems impossible until it’s done.

My friends, it is done. And you are the ones who did it.

I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for the Mayor of New York City.

The New York Times has a very long and sordid history of victim blaming the persecuted.

I will concede NYC is currently better than LA if NYC elects this man.

Marco Rubio needs to be asked whether he believes his grandfather who remained in the U.S. after receiving a deportation order from our govt should have been treated the way the father of 3 Marines was treated by ICE this weekend in California.

ASK HIM. Make him confront his lack of character.

just saw a group of masked men stuffing masked ICE agents into an unmarked car, who were saying "we're ICE we're ICE!" but the abductors shouted to the crowd "no we're ICE!" no one knew who was ICE, so no one in the crowd said anything.

Like I've said before, if you have any doubts about climate change, just go to a super-boring insurance conference and listen to the super-boring panels where they dryly talk about the growing threat of disasters so catastrophic and unpredictable in scope they simply cannot be insured at any price.

Steven Universe is a show about God negotiating with themself and discovering profound empathy for their creation by living amongst it, in doing so going through metaphorical death and resurrection. It's Jesus. Steven is Jesus. Deeply Catholic show. Right down to the confessional catharsis aspect.

Omg yes! Same service lol, the gall of these companies robbing people of money with exploitative interest rates. the mafia had cheaper interest 💀

If you’re also having trouble with these stupid fees I’ve been using a service that essentially helps mediate your debt. The con is you’ll have to tank your score, but I’ve had over 20k forgiven in CC debt.

CC companies using exploitative high interest rates that make the mafia jealous they didn’t come up with higher rates, with a system they created, with no buy in from the public: this will hurt your credit score you won’t be able to afford a house! 😏

Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales
Husband of Jonathan Joss

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.

Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.

When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.

While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.

Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.

Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.

He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.

I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.

My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together.

If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.

Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built.

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today.

I'm so angry.
