Faith leaders condemn Lt. Gov. Beckwith for Three-Fifths Compromise comment YouTube video by WRTV Indianapolis

Indiana Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith recently called the Three-Fifths Compromise, the law which defined Black people as three-fifths of a human during slavery, “a great move.”

These Hoosiers want him to apologize immediately.

A sad day in Fishers. Hamilton Southeastern football star Mason Alexander is being laid to rest after he was killed in a car crash this month.

I do some outrageous things to get Indiana’s attention sometimes…like pretending to be Lionel Messi for 15 seconds.

In case you're wondering, Carmel/Hamilton County does have *some* kind of public transportation: Hamilton County Express, which is not actually operated by the county.

Ridership has increased, but it recorded as many rides in one year as IndyGo's Red Line has in a month.

If Carmel’s large school buses can get through roundabouts (and they do), it’s probably not as big of an issue as you might think.

IMPD searching for driver responsible for deadly hit-and-run in downtown Indianapolis A local family is searching for answers after police say their loved one was hit and killed while crossing the street in downtown Indianapolis Tuesday.

Spoke with @wrtv.bsky.social’s Adam Schumes this afternoon about the hit-and-run this morning that killed a woman who was in town for work.

Far too many pedestrians and bicyclists in Indianapolis are being struck and killed by cowardly drivers who leave the scene.

People in Indy know Indiana Avenue was the center of Black history and culture...but they also know how it was mostly hollowed out and demolished through urban renewal.

I dug through the archives and found this piece from 1986. It's jarring to hear how Indiana Avenue was described then vs. now.
