FREEDOM TO FLY: Take Action to Protect Trans Passport Access | A4TE The U.S. Department of State has opened public comment periods on three important passport applications, and we must flood all three with our opposition to anti-trans changes before it's too late.

If you have trans people in your life (me, for instance) please take 5 minutes out of your day to do this.

The federal government is trying to make trans people use their sex at birth in their passports. What a bunch of turds! This one small thing can help.

That’s way too annoying to have to check every single link to find what you’re looking for

I meant bookmarks, I love bookmarks

Oh yeah drafts too! That’s another really annoying one

Yeah that’s when Twitter will definitely be annoying, if you don’t have the solid group that you want to see stuff from

My main problem with Blue Sky is I can’t save posts

1 year ago 2 0 1 0

I have notifications on for my friends, my fyp I don't look at much and easily scroll past things I don't like. I mute words if I'm REALLY annoyed by a discourse. If there's something interesting I saw and the app refreshed, I can usually remember key phrasing in the sentence.

Honestly that stuff just doesn't bother me much because I use Twitter to hang out with my friends. The bots and AI is annoying but it's not so hard to scroll past. For someone who uses Twitter for more than talking with select individuals it would be more stressful. But I just don't obsess over it

This platform switch actually worked though. Like everyone I was friends with on Goodreads went to Storygraph. Storygraph is actually better with MORE features, whereas Bluesky has way less features than Twitter

Yeah a ton of people switched to it from Goodreads including me, so you should try it

You should use Storygraph it gives you more statistics and things

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Also do you have Goodreads or Storygraph

I agree with you that the world and other characters are generic but I find Murderbot so interesting it makes up for that. I really like this series, and yes other books are definitely better

Public comment on US passport form changes related to trans

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes.

You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment.

My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc.

an albino peacock kinnara reaching out his wings to a humanoid ziz, or a griffin, who looks menacing, but in truth he is just shy. The Kinnara fearlessly approaches the griffin's nest, though all about it are strewn with swords and arrows discarded and hurled.
Kinnara are paragons of love in south and southeast folklore, perhaps, even, love that transcends both mercy and devotion.
"but why does the peacock have top surgery scars?" my friend, he is not only trans, he is also intersex!

She connects with snails so much she views herself as one so that’s why it’s memoir of a snail even though she’s not actually a snail

1 year ago 1 0 0 0

It’s about a woman’s life, and her struggles, and her bond with her twin brother she got separated from. She loves snails and she deals with grief and addictions and life in general

I’m rooting for that one but I haven’t seen most of the others. I want to see Flow

You should watch Memoir of a Snail it is AMAZING I just watched it it’s so so good best thing

And I’ve liked the story a lot, of course I can’t judge the whole thing as it’s incomplete

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Yes it’s very fun, I love how many different things you can see depending on which abilities and branches you pick, you can replay it so many times. I am glad they’re revamping the first chapter though as that one definitely felt like it didn’t give enough agency

Well it’s not fully released but yes it’s a very good game
