I came into the classroom today, sat down at the computer, waiting for my students. I realized that the monitor was not working - I fixed the power cable, it sparked and turned on. Then I realized the mouse didn’t work. This I couldn’t fix. So the only thing that was working properly today was me.

I have somewhat of an irrational fear of using drums in my music. Like if I ever release a track with drums, there's no going back. Silly, right?

Have you ever thought of how let’s say Chopin or Rachmaninov had only a piano and made music for ages, whereas we now have all the keyboards and modulars and make bleep bloops to post with pictures of plants?

I’m not sure why my mom made me smell a sunflower for the photo since they don’t have any distinct smell, but love the picture anyway.

If you want to make friends with someone who has social anxiety, tell them you would like to have a cabin in the woods or a farm in a small village with no people around. This is somewhat of a signal that helps us find each other.

Sometimes I feel like in our small community we're making music just for each other.

The way I come up with temporary names for my projects is quite amusing. Mostly I just look around and pick the first thing my eye comes across. Depending on where I look, I end up with something like either "l'Eau d'Issey" or "raisins".

I realized that I have so much unreleased music that it would almost make 3 LPs. However, it will probably take some time to sort out that "almost".
