I think maybe the difference is Daan/Danielle allowed himself to think things could work out, whereas Elise always knew, on some level, things would end and tried to enjoy it for as long as possible.

On the whole I think maybe trivial cute stuff is fine to ask creators? But on the whole it makes me a little uncomfortable. I can surmise things myself and if it's not there, it's fun to make stuff up.
