I spent the week end in London to play roller derby (we lost 😔) and go see The Tempest at the Globe, it was great! very explicitely about colonialism, lots of 4th-wall-breaking, I had a great time!! ☺️
Saw Les Mis in London in December and unsurprisingly these 2 still have a very comfortable place in my brain 10+ years after I first got into the fandom 😔 I don't really how to draw them anymore tho (or how I want to draw them now i guess) 🙃

My mother has issued me an eviction notice. I have to leave by April 1st, or she will kick me out with police force. She has threatened to do this a couple times. This time, I know she means it. I will be moving in with @CryptAesthetics, who has been made aware of every step of her abuse since it began. We're aiming to move out by the end of March, and I need assistance raising money to pay for first & last month's rent, plus movers for myself since most of my friends do not drive, but can help pack. Whatever else we make will help me puchase house essentials & mobility assistance, and help pay part of @CryptAesthetics first/last, too. We are looking to raise a minimum of 2000 CAD. 1500 for first/last on my part, 300 for movers, & 200 for a new mattress for myself. After a couple of months, I thought this change was permanent, and she made the offer to move in with her in April 2024, in my childhood home. This was my mistake. I trusted her, and put faith in her, hoping that the change she displayed was permanent. It was not. For the past two years, her treatment towards me has worsened significantly, especially these last several months. It turns out, just because someone doesn't beat you anymore, doesn't mean they've stopped being abusive altogether. She has completely iced me out while removing access to essentials such as access to the bathroom on the same floor my room is (I am disabled. I can't be constantly going up and down stairs. She forces me to do this anyways by locking the door every night), removed toilet paper handles, taken away essentials I helped purchase with my own money, financially abused and harassed me, gaslit me, has weaponized, discriminated, and mocked my mental and physical disabilities, because they 'made her life worse', threatened to keep me hostage in her house until I paid her back money that I owed her, and turned every single one of these situations into her being the victim. Now, she's misgendering me and actively insulting me and my siblings loudly on the phone and to friends, slamming doors, cussing and cursing about me when I'm home, and doing everything she can to scare me. It's working. I'm scared. And I need out.

Having watched 1 hockey game, I have to ask: how do the referees not die???? they're in the middle of the game what kind of superhuman skills do they have to both not impede the game or get thrown into the glass by players??
The only reason I'm not signing up for Hockey right now is because 1)there's a stick and a puck and I have 0 depth perception, 2)I already play an intense high contact sport on skates 🛼 that takes up all my free time, and 3)I don't want to learn more game rules. But mostly 1).
It has been 10 days since I watched Heated Rivalry and in those 10 days I've watched the whole show twice and read all the books in the series because this was tailor-made for me unfortunately 😔⛸️⛸️🏳️🌈

after about 2 weeks of drawing during any minute of free time i had to finish the zine 4 days before the con + paying extra to get it printed on time, it is here and it is beaaaautifuuuul!!!! 🤩 I chose textured paper for the cover and it makes it so fancy!! 😌✨
15 pages done, 8 to go, then editing, text, formating for print, and at some point I need to do the cover too. All before saturday, with a full time job. 🙃

I've been ill for the entire week and am just starting to feel better but I still manage to present a paper on Transmasculinity and queer sexuality in Captain America fanfictions at NEPCA and I only had to rush the conclusion and not cut out anything important so I am very happy with myself today! 😊
If you haven't consider it yet, a rotring pen could fit that description! it's not cheap and it's fragile but it's very precise, it's refillable and works with waterproof ink. :)
