Paterson has done great things with what he’s had available, and may have got us promoted with last year’s squad, which was much stronger (especially if we’d spent the money we wasted in the transfer window on keeping Crowley). But the problems at the club are above his level.

We don’t deserve to go up. Yes, there’s injuries. But squad depth is poor, Belshaw aside we had another poor transfer window, we’re too reliant on a striker who has missed 15 games, 8 through suspension, and a winger who has never been the same since coming back from a long injury.
Trump learning how wars work one mistake at a time.
Grimsby beating Cambridge... genuinely thinking Notts might miss the playoffs right now. Colchester has suddenly become a must win.
Or maybe a Sandinista T-shirt and a black Levi’s jacket. A lot more hair then too.
You may have bumped into me. I wasn’t in any way coolly dressed, probably wearing a Notts County shirt, and flicking through the bootleg gig tapes.
We are looking at a painting of St Liphardus - a 6th-century lawyer, hermit and abbot in Meung-sur-Loire near Orléans, France. He is wearing bishops clothing including a surplus and mitre and is holding a crook. On a lead is a small knee high green and blue dragon.
We’re very sorry sir but you cannot bring your emotional support dragon in here.
The flag’s a bit OTT
One of the best books I've read this year.
8:1 - shorter odds than Farage. They've shortened considerably, I believe.
Both of these are totally believable.
Instant Maggi noodles with a handful of frozen peas and an egg in it was my gourmet alternative to the ubiquitous Pot Noodle back in the days of student poverty.
There are few foodstuffs that aren't instantly improved with an egg.
OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.
Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

At some point even those who were born into it (I wasn't - Dad's a Newcastle and Darligton fan) made a conscious decision. I moved to Notts in 1977 at the age of 9. I chose to turn my back on Lincoln City, and not to choose Forest at the time when either was more obvious and sensible.
We're Notts County. It's what we do.
Could this suggest which 4 teams will go up from League Two?
btw... noticeable to see Mansfield here. Clough has made them a tough team to break.
Polanski’s made it pretty clear that he’s not interested in taking votes from the Tories and Reform. His goal is to replace Labour.
If Facebook wasn't bad enough, the sheer number of local events being advertised with horrendously awful AI slop posters - from gigs to pub quizzes - currently make it the ugliest site on the internet.
We could have an unprecedented end of season in The National League & League 2 this year where the top 2 in the National League play each other in a winner takes all last game of the season to replace the loser of the last game of the season between one just outside the relegation zone and one in it
I’m feeling a little sadness that today’s game not ending 1-1 removes the possibility of the season being decided via a one game playoff.
A proper game of football, this one, berween a team that should have wrapped up the title already and another which should have been demoted to League One a long time ago.
The Out Touch Pope who is WEAK ON FRANCE should let me divorce Catherine of Aragon or I’ll Go Crazy on him Big Time. He has Lots of Monasteries & I can Take. England has been Pushed Around too long like the Field of the Cloth of Gold which France cheated? Thank you for your attention to this matter
No. It’s going to be chaos. A load of inexperienced councillors, many unvetted by the party, with no idea of the workload involved. Greens lack of whipping will further complicate things.
I think it’s more likely to be homegrown left wing antisemites.
In 💯
But he needs to demand changes to the way the club is run in order to meet our potential, and it remains to be seen whether the owners go along with that. Otherwise, I see him taking a Rotherham or a Port Vale up next season.
I'm feeling resigned to League 2 football next year, and not at all confident that we will be competitive. You can't get out of League 2 on stats-led Moneyball recruitment alone. It needs to be backed up with players with experience, smarts and physical strength.
He’s injured. I think it’s ankle ligaments. May be fit for the playoffs is my understanding.
Keep Tsaroulla if we’re in L2.
I can’t really see them spending the money required to survive in what is going to be a ridiculously tough League 1 either.
