Back of the envelope. Full.
Remember the days when you would get those emails about "tired light" theory and other groundbreaking new ideas? Well, today I received such a contact in SNAIL MAIL. That's a first. To my HOME address. My dude ran out of space and hand wrote on the back of the envelope. I am not in radio or SETI. 🤷
Yeah, Marty seemed to have that issue frequently.:)
Woman announces she is one of the 20% of women on antidepressants and a room full of men laugh. This is just horrible.
Yeah they are notoriously slow. I heard they can't get up to 88 mph.
Especially at that time!
A Delorean DMC-12.
At the Tucson Automotive Museum. Giddy as a kid to see one of these in person. They had quite a few way more (20-30x) expensive cars, but this slow stainless steel car got my attention the most. What a treat.
Heartbreaking description of the pointless, thoughtless damage being done to the Kennedy Center. It was such an important part of life in Washington, and is now being destroyed for no reason

I am also not happy that 45 is lumped in the same category as 65, while the 30's get a 4 year bin.
He also had a doctorate. Unacceptable.

As a great pun, Hungarians are now saying that the Tisza is once again overflowing following this major victory.
In case you are not into Eastern European geography: Tisza is the name of the other major river that crosses Hungary (next to the Danube), on the eastern part of the country. Long ago (150 years ago), it used to overflow every spring. Now it is contained by route management and levees.
Daughter and I both finished reading Project Hail Marry this week. Going to go see it tonight in theaters.
Immensely huge news!! I may break my many months of not having any alcohol to celebrate.
Not ashamed to say I've had them together. No need to choose.

Viral photo from some years back of a man nonchalantly mowing his yard with a tornado on the horizon .
How it feels doing literally any task right now.
The C.I.A. director used one word to describe the Israeli prime minister’s regime change scenarios: “farcical.” At that point, Mr. Rubio cut in. “In other words, it’s bullshit,” he said.
It's comical that he needs a toddler translation.
I am in Ciscomani's district and have given up contacting him about anything for a while now, but today I did write to him.
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't one of those representatives have to be the speaker himself, Mike Johnson? He needs to authorize the inquiry. That's never going to happen.
The genocide in Gaza was normalized. What did we expect to happen?
Hasselblad film camera. The dynamic range of film is amazing (modern digital has come close/equal) and the highlight retention of film cannot be beat.
Nope
According to the article they took a Z9 also for testing.
According to the article, it is tested in space environment, reliable, and has the highest ISO range available (3,280,000). Sony only goes to ISO 204,800.
Did anyone check how viewership dropped while he was talking and the comments?
