I’m working more on studying horror art, does anyone have any recommendations? I’m really inspired by Salvador Dali, Dr. Nowhere, Junji Ito, Dan Peacock, and other ‘surreal’ creators in this vein.

Just rambling on here. As you grow as a creator you grow as a person so I think it’s important to share the journey, whatever that may be.
I always say I’m going to keep creating despite the AI takeover but I always wonder if I would still hold on to my passion if I didn’t find a sense of community around it. I’d like to say yes just because I love creating but I’m never sure if I’d put in that much effort for myself.
From a creative standpoint, I want to share and create art to show how much I love something and to inspire joy and individuality. Although my art isn’t perfect I feel that art is my passion and it’s unfortunate for social media to squash the joy out of it for people like me.
Been trying to get more cozy on here, it really seems like I’m able to find more artists here than anywhere else.
