My grade school was still doing nuke drills when I was there. Too close to Chicago for a wood and metal desk to do anything but fuse with the ash my body left behind.

Now would be a great time to reconsider that 46% cut to NASA’s science budget for FY2027.

Despite Apocalyptic Warnings, California Fast Food Wage Hike Didn’t Kill Jobs UC Berkeley study finds employment held steady — and only pennies were added to menu prices.

So it turns out paying people a living wage doesn’t collapse the economy; it’s almost like the rich have been lying to us to maintain their power over our lives.

How else does everyone occupy their time while driving to and from work? It's the only way I got through books like Infinite Jest and the Game of Thrones series.
