Well, of course. It's Germany. Not like they'd accept card payments. The ones I know of in Denmark have switched to card, which is nice as I can finally use them again.

It was sadly too early for its time. By far the best, but the world wasn't ready for the darker Bond until Casino Royale.
Yeah, didn't start a war until last night either. Too busy with trade, production and economy interaction. And then I had to spy on AI wars to figure out that it was in fact CK2-style at this early stage (not much to do about army make up, all to do with number of soldiers).
Definitely helps to pick a smaller country and focus on their specific problems and opportunities though. Starting as Castille was not a bad idea in eu4, but it's far too overwhelming in eu5. And not wanting to do everything all at once helps a lot too. Patience is actually the virtuest virtue.
I feel quite the same way. There are so many systems that interact, but it feels like it's not insurmountable to figure out how. I feel a lot of "I wonder how that mechanic affects my country. Let's try and fiddle with it". And occasionally discover some clever little bits. One area at a time though

Not unlike the age verification in Leisure Suit Larry, where they asked questions that assumed you were born in the 60's at least - and were American. Terribly difficult as a 9 year old Dane.
Jeg bliver aldrig træt af den omvendte kamp #cryars
Missed the chance to go full blown Jorge Campos!
But who has the most fun: the emperor or the fool?
Ah yes, Danish Pomerania...
According to Danish children's TV, kale was used by poor people as their christmas tree in olden days, so it's not unreasonable that the same was true across the sound. Probably didn't give that christmas'y smell though.
Point them to a YouTube video explaining their field of research as comprehensively as those ads... And feel free to add in those that are based on conspiracy theories
Aaaw, what a looker. You sure it was you drawing? And any chance of the long(er) haired McAteer in lovely red?
Jason McAteer?
