Y'know, the aesthetic isn't exactly matched, but for under 5$ this IKEA town is pretty effective miniature terrain.

Inititives like this are a huge part of how developers in Canada, Germany, and other countries with such grants were able to wind up such flourishing indie scenes tbh

There's an insistence that 1,000 pages of exactly what backers want is written and now going to waste, which I find... hard to believe, to put it gently.

It really speaks to how far TTRPGs have to grow as a medium that a game about taking care of a Tamogotchi completely imploded because it's designers couldn't fathom any gameplay other than combat.
