I think it’s perfectly clear where the strengths and weaknesses were during the discussion with US/ Ukraine. That gave me a new and special kind of shame as an American- watching a president try to extort a foreign leader, essentially a guest in our home.

Some of the language is a bit outdated, as you’d expect, but it’s clear that they were doing their best. Otherwise, it’s a wild show that’s just as absurd as the ridiculous soaps. Think amnesia, murder plots, possessions etc. If you give it a try, enjoy!

I just started watching “Soap,” which airs free on Tubi and has 4 seasons. It’s a fun spoof of the soaps of the late 70s, and was shockingly progressive for the time. It did a fantastic job attempting to normalize gay people- of course this was pre-AIDS, but still.
