Damn, a few days has turned into a few weeks. The temp therapist asked about this last week which the paper thin hotel walls are a significant barrier… unless I only take pics and silent films. But where I thrived was with live streaming which isn’t possible yet 🤧

For myself: I spent a good chunk of time looking at a mirror or at the front facing camera while experimenting what poses/angles looked good.

For directing: I’m more abstract with it, telling them what I want evoked to make it more natural for them. Playing music I find helps loosen people up

Half of the programs, referrals, assistance, I applied to myself from what I found on my own. So constantly hearing about these organizations, who follow the above model, that help with housing rings pretty fucking hollow

Like… my grandma worked for her aunt’s catering and taught me a lot about cooking. I’ve worked in a kitchen. I’ve managed a grocery checkout department - trained managers twice my age, ran day to day operations for a church & a studio… hell I care for 2 dementia patients while running my business.
