In one of my earliest tabletop campaigns, which was a huge messy amateurish hex-crawl, the players contrived to pit the authoritarian supercomputer in hex X against the slavers and pirates in hex Y. It was one of my most favourite bits of emergent gameplay and boy I did not know what I was doing
You see, it's just a kids' series so get a grip don't take it so seriously and don't hold it to any kind of standard, but also it is a transcendent, peerless, life-changing masterwork that I would put above the harm caused to actual real human beings
