i got it! it's happening!!

work is always busy this time of year, and on top of that I'm trying to do something potentially very very changing... and the days i get home from work I'm basically dead tired to the world.

So I decided to just take this weekend to play a few games and not do anything work related at all.

Which I kinda needed because I wasn't feeling that great and then on top of that I was getting caught up with my anxiety about my job.

Since I got back from Karen's in January, I've basically been working at my job or working on Do You Like Italian Food? at home.

right now i feel like my brain is fried
and i'm tired

but it's been a good weekend

i laughed so hard during d&d tonight that my chest still hurts and i felt like i couldn't breathe for a couple of minutes. one of out other players literally got up from the table and left the room.

i genuinely wondered if i was going to have to go to my room to grab my inhaler.

It's important to make shit for yourself right now. Make drawings and share stories with your community without the fear of it being perfect or the expectation that it'll do numbers. The less opportunities we all get means we have no one else to do it for but ourselves. Just make something.

i did a very loose rough doodle of Jared as a 14 year old at 2am last night. he's 21 in Do You Like Italian Food? but i thought it would be fun to sketch him at a different age.

yesterday i had a particularly tiring day at work, but i still wanted to make something for the game. i ended up drawing this right before going to sleep.

the nice thing i realized about getting here so early is that i can keep the lights off in the building (one light switch for everyone) and i can just enjoy working in the dark.

our office looks nicer in the dark anyway.

going to work two hours early today because there's a big event that started at midnight and someone should be there to answer the phones

i hope that i get to leave at 2pm instead of 4pm
