Who's in? May 1st, no work, school, or shopping!

This is a huge and wonderful deal! So happy for them. Goodbye Victor is right. Lots of hope right now for expanding democracy.
ICE engages in inhumane and illegal behavior. Minneapolis residents (and kind people across the country) are standing up to the cruelty with its opposite. Affirming compassion, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. We welcome immigrants. We love our neighbors. We won't tolerate fascism.
Waukesha county folks, have you attended a rally yet? If not, consider it. Maybe you've never thought of yourself as a protester. You might be surprised. Standing up for your beliefs and for others can be energizing and increase hope. It's good to be with others who feel the same. And it's fun!
Yes! Thank you Waukesha Resist for planning and hosting all your great events. Waukesha county residents -- we highly recommend attending.
Get ready, pro-democracy folks! May 1 we show our strength. If possible, please join us. No school, no work, no purchasing anything. We say NO to the Trump regime. We say NO to authoritarian rule.
Despicable.
Trump threatened genocide. Ending an entire civilization is genocide. And the rest of our government, including our Republican congress, did nothing to stop him. We must remove Trump from office or we are all complicit. We cannot condone this. Keep speaking out and calling your reps.
If you'd rather your taxes pay to educate children not bomb them, speak out. Let your reps know. Be sure your vote makes this clear. Once we're past the violence, corruption, and inhumanity of the current regime, we need a new dream for our future -- and we all need to pitch in to make it happen!
Shameful for sure.
Just a reminder. We can have nice things when everyone (including large corporations) actually pay their fair share. We can have nice things (like healthcare, education, good jobs, infrastructure) when we make these things our priority.
This is tonight at 6. Posting for those who are nearby and able to attend. It's so important to end gerrymandering everywhere!

Graphic reading “It’s time to vote your rights. It’s Election Day. Polls close today at 8 p.m. Any voter in line at their assigned polling place at 8 p.m. will be able to vote.”
IT’S ELECTION DAY! Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
If you haven’t already, you can still register at the polls (with proof of residence), and make sure you bring your ID!

Reminder: you can call or email your representatives at any time. Day or night. Leave a message if no one picks up the phone. Call everyday if you're able. Say the same thing everyday if you want. Maybe something about removing Trump from office? He is not ok. We are not ok. The world is not ok.

As Trump threatens the people of Iran with more war crimes and continues to destroy America’s reputation, Congress isn’t powerless in this moment. Demand that your senators and representative do everything they can to stop the regime’s illegal war.

Taking a break from defending democracy to enjoy this photo of books and a cat -- some of our favorite things. Hope you're taking breaks and finding moments of relaxation, fun, or connection this weekend too. Rest gives us the energy to keep going!
