The ageless, some would even say elven, face of Bryan Johnson.

“The face of Elrond was ageless, neither old nor young, though in it was written the memory of many things, both glad and sorrowful.”

Hi Bookheads, John here. Due to an unexpected personal loss, this week’s episode on Melville’s “The Confidence Man” is going to be late. Ben and I are figuring out the schedule for this ep and the rest of this season, and we’ll share more as soon as we’re able. Semper Books!

Enjoyable to see Chabon finally nail his Great American novel after the "shipwrecked" Fountain City. The whole thing is chock full of bravura paragraphs. Also this is perhaps our most riff filled episode to date lol.

We had a blast talking about “The Amazing Adeventures of Kavalier and Clay” with @cacomixpod.bsky.social
Enjoy what is our longest (and in my opinion, funniest) episode to date!
Part 2 will be out next week, Book Heads!
