For this.weekinsecurity.com, I wrote about how hackers are helping criminal gangs hijack and steal delivery trucks packed full of consumer goods — from vapes to lobster meat heists, to potentially 12 tons of KitKat bars.
It's a growing but underreported problem. I explain more for subscribers. ❤️

Generation discourse is so silly once you realize that most of the music that was so meaningful to you as a teen was probably created by people in a previous generation.
And some of the kids’ music is more than alright.
Apparently it is only you? Though every couple of months or so someone reports this. Have you been able to reach their customer service? Email me at brian@ridehomefund.com
Goddamit. Follow up with me here. I have no idea. I’m very tired.
Anyone know why Claude doesn't have memory across entire projects yet?
Can you remind me of this at brian@ridehomefund.com? I know what has happened. I just need to fix it.
I know I’m the giant asshole for not knowing this but since when do the Oscar’s start this early?

This is my usual reminder that the team I really hate is Man U. But wow, this Tottenham thing is becoming a car crash that you can’t look away from.
This is 1) the best essay I’ve read in a while on OpenAI’s situation specifically, and 2) the whole question around LLMs as a new flavor of compute. Act accordingly. www.techmeme.com/260221/p5#a2...

You do realize you won’t have to post here anymore soon right? AI will do it for you. The thing is: you’ll still scroll as much as you ever did and won’t notice the difference.
Winner.
Am I wrong or does Apple need to release Macs that are like total beasts for doing AI very soon?
Press a button and make one? Oh and the plot can be exactly the way I want it? How many people would take that choice?
Listen, I want it NOT to be true. But I also don’t like the fact that most people spend 2 hours a day watching algorithm delivered 10 second videos either. Plus there’s the Napster/on demand example. I feel like watching a new James Bond right now. There isn’t one. But you’re saying I could
I agree with you. But I’m not sure it’s going to matter to 90% of people.
I've actually been to the desert on a horse with THREE names: "Filly Michael Thomas." The original owner was a huge Miami Vice fan.

the time it takes them to do the swap out as well, which you have kind of just proven to me. So the bottom line is, if you download the show within an hour of me hitting publish, you probably get the ads. If you download it, say, 3 hours after I hit publish... no ads. Stupid Apple.
file. So, one feed, but they replace the files. Problem is... Apple doesn't refresh the feed immediately. I've had to wait for as long as an hour before they refresh the RSS feed so I can upload the ad free file and they swap it out. Because they have this lag, I've SUSPECTED that there's a lag in
Supercast, has a totally separate feed, where I upload a DIFFERENT mp3 file of the show without the ads. Apple doesn't do it that way. Apple needs to see the WITH ADS show show up in the main feed first, THEN you have to upload the AD FREE file so that Apple can replace the AD file with the AD FREE
Well, there's not a "good" reason for it, but you've proven something is happening that I suspected was happening. So... stick with me for a second. There's the "main" rss feed hosted on Megaphone. I upload a file that has the ads in it, and hit publish. Then, the other subscription service....
Hold on. In a meeting. I’ll explain. But check yesterday’s episode. Redownload it. Does yesterday’s have ads?
