Started a new run of Caves of Qud. Pretty sure the bracelet I have on my lower left arm is a slug's asshole.

The starting area of the Caves of Qud daily challenge of February 28th, 2026. The first thing we see is a gelatinous wedge. They are friendly to us, or at least neutral, but we can feel them laughing at us on the inside. The same inside we got trapped in yesterday, the first time we encountered one of their kind, where we were almost digested. And the second time we encountered them, less than a minute after surviving the first encounter, while still confused from the medicine that saved our life, trying to rest to heal, in complete darkness, holding our two-handed sword, unable to find a torch in our inventory over all the confusion, therefore not even seeing them coming. And even this we survived! We didn't die until much later... in the flames of our own grenade... but that is not important right now.
