And yet they will still say everyone has access to top of the range learning

I agree, every new edtech says it reduces teacher workload and often supports learning, yet the evidence is often limited
Excited to be demonstrating my Ai dialogical assessment model for my #EdD @ucl.ac.uk - this is part of my research into #AI assessing competence and behavior for childcare courses #Edtech #Assessment #EdAI

Very interesting, especially when so many edtech products include this personalized companion or guide

Agreed. Feedback is part of the learning process and shouldnât be automated
I wonder where researchers fit into this. I feel people need human and in-depth research
Itâs demonstrated.

But it doesnât prove competence.
Real competence is shown through:
â¨decisionsâ¨contextâ¨judgement
Itâs how someone responds in real situations, not what they say they would do.
Thatâs where assessment needs to evolve.
Competence isnât declared. #assessment #TVET #assessor #edtech
Most learners donât fail. The evidence model does.
Too much of assessment is built on:
â¨long written answersâ¨repeated uploadsâ¨generic reflections
It looks like progress. #edtech #assessment #tvet #skillsassessment
This is a great example of showing that innovation isnât the product, itâs the process and quite rightly points out that teachers can steer that

This is a great example of augmentation and how ai can support reflection and change
It means integration and augmentation

If it can be used to help prompt and challenge, it can be good
Your lesson isnât boringâbut some students may not feel challenged, or they may be confused. @mirplo.bsky.social addresses these and other sources of âIâm bored.â đ

Instead of being stuck in one job, apprentices would rotate across key business functions such as:
⢠Sales / business development
⢠Operations / logistics
⢠Finance / procurement
⢠Project management
⢠Customer success
How did this even get the go ahead and why did they think this was ethically ok? No consent and Epistemic manipulation - humans can not be simulated into AI prompts #ai #ethics
This is the first time I came across this term. Really great on how learners can develop their agency
After many years of citing UNESCO-UNEVOC in my work, itâs great to now be part of a European team who are collaborating on ideas for the future publication âA Practical Guide for AI in TVETâ #ai #tvet #unesco #unesvoc
I like this. My research suggests the biggest shift isnât personalisation or grading, itâs how AI reshapes professional judgement, assessment design, and workload. Impact depends far more on how AI is embedded than the tech itself.

When a Year 7 can articulate the risk of AI better than most policy papers, itâs time we listened.
If your AI strategy in education is âdetection tools + panicâ, youâve already lost.
Design better assessment. Trust professional judgement. Use AI with educators, not against them.
