But it doesn’t prove competence.
Real competence is shown through:

decisions
context
judgement

It’s how someone responds in real situations, not what they say they would do.
That’s where assessment needs to evolve.
Competence isn’t declared. #assessment #TVET #assessor #edtech

Most learners don’t fail. The evidence model does.

Too much of assessment is built on:

long written answers
repeated uploads
generic reflections
It looks like progress. #edtech #assessment #tvet #skillsassessment

This is a great example of showing that innovation isn’t the product, it’s the process and quite rightly points out that teachers can steer that

Instead of being stuck in one job, apprentices would rotate across key business functions such as:
• Sales / business development
• Operations / logistics
• Finance / procurement
• Project management
• Customer success

I like this. My research suggests the biggest shift isn’t personalisation or grading, it’s how AI reshapes professional judgement, assessment design, and workload. Impact depends far more on how AI is embedded than the tech itself.

If your AI strategy in education is “detection tools + panic”, you’ve already lost.

Design better assessment. Trust professional judgement. Use AI with educators, not against them.
