The amazing, letter-perfect performance of NASA this week is a ferocious rebuke to the right-wing fools who constantly tell us that for-profit businesses always do a job better than the government.

Nice! Though I would not generally characterize the U.S. stock market as a sweet, friendly, lovable, huggable floof, the point is taken.

The Fifth Season by N K Jemisin | Papercuts Bookshop At the end of the world, a woman must hide her secret power and find her kidnapped daughter in this "intricate and extraordinary" Hugo Award winning novel of power, oppression, and revolution.

You're an adult.

Here's what to read instead of watching that transphobic trash.

First up, NK Jemisin's triple-Hugo award winning Broken Earth trilogy.

Gorgeous world-building. Brand-new magic. Actual themes of oppression and liberation.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
