I had a smile plastered on my face nearly the entire movie from the first shot showing speed on the bench all throughout to the drive home
the love, the spectacle, the passion, and the art of it all beautifully presented with the care that a masterpiece like it deserved and more

This is the closest you can get to truly feeling like a racecar is doing a spin attack above you at f-zero speeds
the sound mix was so immersive I thought I might’ve really been feeling the rush of wind on my face from it and the actual throttle of the engines in my hands
nothing will prepare you for how crisp the restoration is. nothing will prepare you for how immersive the sound mix is.
see speed racer in imax and let it change you like no other movie will.
It simply does not get better than this
it is torture getting these from the store when I have a whole rest of the workday ahead 😭
I’ve been really busy these last couple nights so I haven’t got the chance to boot it up even though I’ve had this for a few days now 😭
I’m so excited to be Living the Dream soon!! #TomodachiLife
saw it again in 4DX and had so much fun I actually had tears of joy 😂
I was pleasantly surprised by the 3D implementation and whoever choreographed the 4DX effects clearly had a blast doing it for this movie!!
let’s all do more barrel rolls and ride more launch stars!!!
Moon Child began life as an Amiga AGA title before shifting to PC, where it finally saw release in 1997. A fascinating glimpse into a project caught between two eras. More here:

For me, the idea that every single human being has the potential to do something amazing is fundamental.
Pixar has been a fucking mess for a while but so much has been conceded to reactionary conservative mindset that "what if girls were friends and they liked anime" is a tough sell. Like just make the movie.
oh man that could have made obscene amounts of money
some guys are like "oh, when women like gundam they like it solely for the BL as opposed to the male fans who like the gunpla and military stuff" but you don't understand, the women who like gundam like it for the complex war stories and science fiction military theory and gunpla *and* the BL
I love music youtu.be/U_Ff9Koz88E?...
You'll always be a part of me
Some wounds will always sting
Forever in full bloom
Barely twenty two
Summer days are growing colder
We'll know better when we're older

yes!!
When you grow older there's a temptation to drift rightward and become more reactionary and complacent, to dismiss your previous views as childish fancies not grounded in the real world, and if you resist that urge you win.
let’s all have fun seeing this movie together!
it ony a movie 🕵️
I don’t post much here about my obsession with figure skating but just know Prague destroyed me 💔
was feeling a little awkward cause it was my first time as a guest rather than a student at a career networking thing like this so hopefully next time I’ll be more settled 😅 I should really get out more… 😂

Support Kyle Fraser’s Recovery after Two Strokes
Some of you may know I’ve been dealing with a personal matter over the last week. Most of you do not. I consider myself a very private person but I need to ask for help at this time. Last week, my partner and best friend, Kyle Fraser, suffered from two strokes in a single day. There is a very long and expensive road ahead, and our friends have been gracious enough to help organize a GoFundMe for anyone who wishes to offer their support. On it, we have written up more detail on his condition for anyone curious. Even a repost or share helps. The link to that is in my bio, my story, highlights - pretty much anywhere. Thank you for your thoughts and support at this time. Apologies in advance if I take some time to reply, I’m taking it one day at a time.
For those who don’t know him, Kyle is probably the most compassionate person I’ve ever met. He is as gentle and brilliant as much as he is strong and funny. He loves his two cats Poly and Moog, and adopted them with the explicit intention of ‘which cats are you having a hard time adopting?’ Though he can be reserved and introverted, Kyle has a fierce passion for his career and will always offer a helping hand to anyone in need, often taking calls to mentor professionals beginning their career. I’ve become a better person through knowing and loving him.

Anything helps, a like, a share, a donation. thank you for your support during this difficult time ❤️
thank you northernlion for the "i don't want a jury of my peers, my peers are intellectually feeble, they're not critically thinking !", that's going in the linguistic memory
ever since i was a child i always wanted to be a generic mech pilot, come across the protagonist, yell "I won't lose!" and say "tch ... !" and "This girl ... !!" until she impales me, there is a close up of my yelling, i explode into pink flames and i am forgotten after 3 episodes
