lmaaooo my dad bought my mom a gift card for valentine’s day not realizing that the rainbow on the card had the exact colors from the progress pride flag

this is also why I prefer to watch movies in my room alone so I can focus on enjoying them without hearing my parents getting offended at anything they believe goes against their xtian beliefs

I don’t watch recent movies/shows with my parents often bc they complain about the swearing & tell me to “avert my eyes“ whenever there’s a sex/makeout scene

like,,,,I’m a grown adult and I don’t mind these things in movies

now my interest in her work has dropped significantly & i haven’t watched anything of hers in years,,,,i still own copies of her autobiography/memoir, it would be nice to reread them sometime

then i discovered behooved - what a hilarious, beautiful book about a main character living with a chronic illness + coming to terms with what she wants for herself + what being strong means

was working at the front desk when two teens came up & asked “we’re looking for teen fantasy books including time travel 🥺🥺 can you give us some recommendations? 🥺🥺”

after i found them some books they said “thank you so much!! 🥹🥹 you’ve been really helpful!! 🥹🥹”

it really made my day 🥹
