Rockadile opened up the night, fronted by an 11 year old singer who was belting out Judas Priest, Scorpions, and AC/DC.

vocals that just go and go. It was a pleasure to open for them. Got to geek out on guitars a little with Samuel before the show.
Platinum Moon went on after us and that band has some groove and vocals pipes. Two words: rocked it!

Moments before we started playing last night at Morgan Hill Event Center, opening for Liliac as they wind along their tour. We had a good set, lot of good energy, and it was great to see the VoYD fans in the crowd.

Parked in short term parking, maybe 30 minutes, and then went to check out.

Recently, I picked up a new guitar, my first electric made this century, the EVH Frankenstein Relic. This is it out of the box & pre-setup.
The humbucker is super hot and the neck has a great feel to it.
Wasn't about the relic aspect, but I'm already not babying it.
Fun guitar, got a great deal.

Took cat to vet, had to get cat in carrier. This looks like it was easy, but this was not the cat that was going to the vet...
The first real snow of the season brought along Godzilla with it. Had to run the generator for a while (had only run it an hour or two max prior to this). The solar lights were appreciated during the outage.
Maybe someday we will tie a generator into the house, but this was workable.

Callum made a key lime pie, Erin a pumpkin pie (all from scratch, crusts and all), and Dad made an apple pie. We shared the crust recipe with Dad so he can give it a go.
The store bought chocolate cream cake has yet to be cut into.

I bought this Les Paul in 1994 while I was in San Diego with the Navy. SN has it being made in Jan of 93, and it's been halfway around the world and back. It has some battle scars on it both front and back. I joke that I don't own an electric from this century, but it is my favorite go-to guitar.

Made a guitar stand. I have some notes for the second one, but pretty happy with how it turned out.
Fender M80 Chorus amplifier head, removed from the chassis.

Cat in amplifier chassis
Cleaned the pots on a Fender M80 Chorus guitar amplifier. No more scratchy/inconsistent rotation of the volume knobs.
Of course, the cat helped!
