I’m listening to the Red Exposure album by Chrome at the moment. Not Krautrock, but Damon Edge and Helios Creed captured a similar, but darker sound in SF in the 70’s. Damo Suzuki is one of my favorite vocalists. LOVE Can

The Cramps were always cool. Their bus would pull up at the front door on N. Clark St, and the band would say hi to the folks waiting in line. This particular evening, we did indeed “Tear This Damn Place Up”. On the verge of a riot.
