Fun fact when I fainted, my coworker who everyone hated came to me the next day and told me my fainting made it hard on the rest of the staff and to not let it happen again 🙃

Ya‘ll I skipped meals most of my way through school (what’s breakfast?) and I did that on 8 hr shifts until one time I fainted mid shift and learned I had to eat even if it wasnt the best food. If I didn’t have time/energy in high school I sure as hell don’t during work

I ended up spending a few days editing my script again but I can say I have a solid ending that I’m very proud of 😊
Now that the script is completed I can get to reworking the visuals which means I can finally show you guys my new ocs~!

There's been many times I reference from an artist and then years later I'll be drawing my own thing and notice the way I drew a hand or an eye and recognize something in that stylization that reminds me of that artist

My friend was confused when I said I read and play horror books/games and the best way I can explain it is its like eating sour candy. Yeah it hurts but only for a moment and then you find yourself going back for more

For the last decade the majority of my bookshelf has been fantasy. Now its overwhelmingly horror. Idk what this says about me 😅

This is my exact situation. I’m so behind but my wallet is happier. Hate it though when I see something nearly a decade old still at $60 as a digital copy 🙄

-feel like I'm pushing the original author out of the way like "let me do it" lmao. I'm on the third book now of the dark tower and BOY what a ride so far, completely not what I was expecting at all but I'm here for it!

I'm running into this issue with westerns 100%. Which is probably why I never gave the genre a try, just assumed it was full of bad stereotypes (not wrong tho). BUT that means the ones I find I like I treasure more and ngl I like writing stories when I feel let down by the ones around me. Makes me-

Yeah music with any lyrics is a big no for me when writing for that reason! But music can also tamper with the tone so I can’t listen to music with out any lyrics either…

-I picked up the dark tower series by Stephen king just because the front of the first book had a gunslinger on the cover. now I’m back to reading Stephen king which I haven’t done since high school. So random story idea lead me down a rabbit hole where i found stuff I didn’t think I’d like

-story even though I don’t think I’ve ever interacted with one before. And that lead me to finding some really interesting stories I never gave a second glance to. Now I really like red dead redemption 2 and am on a second playthrough and (though I wouldn’t classify it as a western exactly)-

Despite working on it for two months already I haven’t really talked about my new comic project and I’m still not gonna say much until I have more to actually show but i can say it’s a western (I told you I’d be making a lot of cowboy stuff didn’t I?) It’s just funny because I came up with a cowboy-

The last short story comic project I did (back in 2022) was a romance and i found that script to storyboarding was pretty one to one.
My current project is an action/horror and one page of dialogue is about 8 pages of storyboarding
This is gonna be a long one 😬

Also my writing process is a bit tedious rn. I hand write the first draft, do my first edits the same way, then type up the script, do one more round of edits then start storyboarding which has edits of their own. Idk if I’ll do this for my next project or not…idk if it helps yet

I did find that when writing, leaving the house to go to a cafe or library can help me focus but thats not an everyday option

With storyboarding sometimes I can wiggle in music but for scripting it’s just me and the white noise playing between my ears

Its so difficult to get myself to do scripting or storyboarding because I can’t listen to audiobooks or music or YouTube essays or ANYTHING

anything more than complete silence distracts me but I like working with noise 😭 I can’t wait for the sketching/line work phase

Because I spent a good 3 weeks learning horse anatomy (and I still feel like I don’t understand 😂)
