I largely assumed as much, but thank you for the confirmation. ๐

Much appreciated friend. ๐
Question!
For the describe your craft portion, is this intended to be the final description that would go on the website if chosen?
Or is it fine if it is less witty/clever as one might want for the final draft?
Am I just looking in all the wrong places, or do we just not make couches with attached backs anymore? My cat is a large lad and really like to sleep on the back of the couch.
Our couch is busted and needs to be replaced, and the crushed back is a huge part of it.
It's Bookworm day!
I'm so hyped. This is where the story really begins.
#ascendanceofabookworm
I'm sorry to say that I have a friend that used to do this at least. Not sure if he still does.
He has zero social media and it came up literally a decade ago, so it's not strictly booktok nonsense.
Jonathan the Tortoise is still alive folks. It seems like mainstream outlets got duped by a fake X account.
Jonathan is 193 years old, which is amazing. My favourite photo of him is this one from 1886 when he was already 53โ54 which blows my mind
I've seen people trying to defend it today by saying "No, no, I just use it to brainstorm, bounce ideas, I do the actual writing" and with all the kindness in the world I need to tell you: if there is a stage of writing you are not good at, you need to get good, not use the plagiarism machine.
Hey @crunchyroll.com - I'd love if Ascendance of a Bookworm could be fixed before the new season comes out. The last 10 or so episodes are missing.
I can't be the only one doing a rewatch.
Just me, posting even less because Pokopeia has taken all of my brain space.
I genuinely cannot get over how good this game is.
Another good trans relocation org in the Seattle area is Project Open Arms under Traction
As with KOI, they are looking for funding and volunteers, especially people willing and able to lend couches for folks
If you are fleeing Kansas or Idaho to WA state, try them
tractionpnw.org/open-arms/
If you are #trans and looking to flee to the Seattle area from Kansas, I recommend KOI, a 501c3 running out of the state of Washington that helps refugees fleeing to Seattle find temporary housing and resettle

Speedy recovery friend!
If you want confirmation it's normal, my partner is a wound care nurse. Though I'm sure you could just ask your doctor ๐คฃ All I can say myself is I hear horror stories and I think your situation sounds as Partner would put it - "boring" ie normal and good
Happy for you btw ๐
This thread is now dedicated to organizing aid for trans refugees
If you need help or have help to offer, please @ me

It's so fucking exhausting.
Tell me about your folk magic #writesky - I'm trying to brainstorm and would love to hear what other people are doing.
The things seem like superstition but actually have some basis of truth.
I just have protection charms made from the dropped branches of a tree associated with the Guardian.
This is an idea that has lived in my brain in various forms for a VERY long time. Some concepts have been combined and I've been finding they don't all fit together. So I've been trimming and refining the world. I know I have to clarify the foundation before I can build more.
Y'all the section of "background that might show up in flashbacks" is bigger than the part that is the actual meat of the story. ๐ญ๐ญ
Maybe trying to be specific with the things these parts need to *do* will help me figure out what they *are*
I'm so cooked lol rip
So for the moment, I'm refining the mess of ideas into an actual outline of sorts. Up until now all I've really had is a disjointed jumble of vague points, but if I look at it as it just being the beginning... I'm hoping it helps
Lots of "she finds foreshadowing things" tho
#writesky #amwriting
I've started to realize that I really only have act one of this idea plotted.
The questions and more specific details I have to work out are exactly the parts that will inform the rest of the story.
Y'all I'm a plotter not a pantser...

Video proof this really happened!
large boulder the size of a small boulder tweet from San Miguel sheriff, dated 1/27/20
Happy large boulder the size of a small boulder day for all who celebrate
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.
So I guess I'm giving up on falling back asleep.
I just love when my do not disturb gets randomly disabled and I get calls at 7:30.
Really helping that flu recovery there.
r/Seattle over on reddit is a decent spot
This one got mentioned there
Know I'm out there with you in spirit today.
Flu is keeping me sidelined tho.
I think my current knitting project is going to be slightly more complicated than I thought. Something seems wonky with the sizing.
And sadly the pattern creator passed away so I can't ask.
But it is simple enough I think I can figure it out.
www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
You know, I came for video updates, but I'm actually staying for the knitting inspo.
(I do not need to add to the project pile, but here we are.)
This is deeeeply relatable
It might just be the hyper fixation talking, but looking at knitting patterns determining which certain characters would wear is my current obsession in character creation exercises.
(Also like, how many of these do *I* want for me...)
