There is this really cool midcentury modern home in Calgary that I’ve always admired and it was just listed and sold as a tear down for almost 2 million and I’m irrationally angry about the mock up sketch the listing had as the option for building a “beautiful new estate home”

So if your close vision risks to change quickly I wouldn’t recommend it.

But otherwise when they are the correct I find I love them especially for doing things like knitting/embroidery while watching TV where switching glasses would be a pain.

I have mostly really loved my progressives, but also got a pair of glasses optimized for mid distance computer work.

Main downside is I got a new pair right around the time of starting a new drug that I think made my near vision worse and I think I’m going to have to get a new one soon.

The benefit of having teens with braces

Saved me 2 days of pain! All I had to do was work out how to make it stick by connection it to the surrounding teeth.

Sometimes I forget that experimental scientists (including those who are that way at heart) are different. The dentist seemed very amused that I had fashioned myself a temporary crown out of dental wax after I lost the permanent one over the weekend and it hurt. Just seemed normal to fix the problem

I wish I could find this video I saw recently of a humanoid robot falling over, its torso breaking apart, and then it continuing to kick its disembodied legs while people try to gather it up, I would skeet that in reply :)

Did the math again today after adding some new meds. I have one pill (soon to be 2) to help keep my cancer from reoccurring and 9 pills plus 2 creams to deal with the side effect of that one pill (really)
