Love this approach. Bettye Saar was an influential artist in my university art history focus. The piece showing was one I had the pleasure of seeing and writing about back then. She and Romare Bearden were integral to my future artistic expression. Would be nice to view it again in this context.

Dropping the needle on "Sonic Temple" by #TheCult. Produced by Bob Rock, the album married their earlier albums with "Electric" spawning hits "Fire Woman" and "Sweet Soul Sister". The album, like most released in the late 80s, appreciated in value as most of us turned to CDs.

Just wanted to note that Magyar is not great on LGBTQ rights, hence the "it will take a long time to come back" but closer ties to the EU will be better in the long run for trans people than what they had under Orban.

Breaking news! Today is a good day for democracy.

So far, Vance’s foreign policy record is yelling at Zelensky for not thanking Trump enough, campaigning for AfD in Germany and Orban in Hungary, getting rejected by the Pope on his invite to the US, and failing in the Iran negotiations.

Trump, presumably stressed by his buddy Orban’s impending loss, announces that in order to reopen the Strait of Hormuz he’s…ordering a blockade of the Strait.
