I saw a disclaimer in an ebook the other day that said, 'This book is 100% human generated. I'd rather write a story that might have lumpy bits than generate a soulless, passionless, piece of crap." I'm thinking of adding something like that to my next book if I ever get around to writing it.

I've had a long day and I look almost as tired as I feel, but the box of books arrived! Really rewarding to hold MERCUTIO in my hands. It is very purple. Out May 7!
I cannot express how absolutely disgusted I am with federal politicians in this country. This should have been an easy, unanimous decision. Algorithmic pricing is predatory, discriminatory, and just plain wrong.

Life is too short not to read a book that was written well and by an actual human being.
Didn't the Canadian government or courts rule that all personal data belonged to the individual a few years ago? This feels like a bad choice work around so that thoze companies can go one collecting personal data and using it for who knows what.
You cannot ban children from social media without making *everyone* prove their age just to use the internet. And that is a MASSIVE privacy violation with huge potential for abuse by nefarious companies charged with doing the verification.

By 1961, it was the seventh largest.

Draw middle aged people with squid features?
No idea if it’s true but it seems extremely likely.
146 workers died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire on this day in 1911. The bosses responsible were never held accountable for the awful working conditions that sparked the blaze. Remember this today as politicians and their corporate backers attack workplace safety.
“Separate the art from the artist” is a nuanced concept that should be reserved for dead creators only, whose legacies we have to grapple with in the context of history. It should NOT be used for living creators actively doing harm. That’s my two cents.
