Classic Battletech is an amazing game system. It’s a bit of a slog to go through everything (especially for new players), but it’s well worth it for someone who wants a thorough and in depth wargame.
Shoutout to @ripper253.bsky.social for bringing their kit so he and I could slug it out.

Back home from FurDU 2026. Whilst I only spent about 30mins in the con hotel the entire weekend, it was such a blast spending so much time with so many awesome people.

From good food, to arcade games, to drinks in hotel apartments, and even a cheeky game of Battletech. It was such a great time~

These snack packs aren’t designed to actually replace a meal (hence why no main menu item inside it), but are instead there to keep us going for 8+hr deployments in areas where catering crews would find it hard to get to us.
We go home after the callout so it’s not like we’ll starve out there either

So… I maybe was able to get some Snack Packs from my Fire Brigade that were out of date (snack packs are an MRE pack without a main meal item).

After watching a bunch of Steve MRE content I was curious if people would be interested in seeing the packs we firefighters get during busy periods…

Friends I have an amazing wife. We found the StS board game and Mega bought it. The only condition is that I had to play it with her. What a winner.

DDU is a godsend. The amount of times I’ve fixed people’s “broken” PCs with that alone is staggering.

I was playing with little Lou at 1am, trying to tire him out so he’d sleep.

I opened the new abacus we got from IKEA and just start doing maths on it, much to the wonder of Lou. He doesn’t even understand what maths is; he just liked the colourful beads and noises.

Man I love abacuses.

I hate that Røde makes such good products. Been looking at replacing my audio interface with something a bit nicer (with dual USB out for my Dual PC setup) and the RØDECaster Duo is just straight up the best I could ever want.

$630 ON SALE… ooof. I’m not big pants streamer enough to justify that.

It's just over a week until my re-debut and 4 year affiliate anniversary stream. I'm excited but so nervous.

No stream today friends. My work decided to schedule an all-hands meeting at 10am today when I worked all night until 6am.

It's finally time: RAT DEBUT on my 4 Year Affiliate Anniversary!
