in bsky, even if you switch PDS, deleting an old post in your current PDS will keep it stored in the blobs of the old PDS. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

there is no "moving data" on nostr. it's everywhere at once. there's no owner, company, or central authority to ban or label your account.

a PDS, on the other hand, is more expensive and much more complex. When you host your account on someone else's PDS, you're simply changing the centralizing agent.
