Doubly so with other protective gear. Space suits, hazmat suits, wetsuits… adds to that powerful feeling. You can now go where you couldn’t survive without the gear, like an alien stepping onto a new planet for the first time.

Why is breathing gear so arousing? Putting on a gas mask, SCBA, oxygen mask for pilots, etc. means you’re protected and sealed away from the world in a way. You start to feel invincible and powerful. But also vulnerable, if something happens to the mask or your gas supply. Very thrilling & arousing.

I have a feeling given the state of the bird app, that things will get a bit more active here soon. I've been laying low dealing with some mental and physical health issues but I'm slowly moving forward to a point where I feel comfortable engaging with the community more regularly.
