I find with more people (or vrc?) adding the imposters it's helped with the low limit a lot not sure if lowering it more would help with what you're looking for though

Having a 75mb limit has kept me fine on my 12GB VRAM card with decent distant hiding settings (even with showing some specific ones above that limit)
