Virtually nothing of importance

No it's never a science. Science cannot deal with the value issues intrinsic to education
Understandably you may be suffering from Ofsted-consultation fatigue but please find five minutes to complete the much shorter and sharper ABC (Alternative Big Consultation) at thealternativebiglisten.co.uk
We are getting many responses to the ABCbut we need more. Do find five or ten minutes to give us your judgments and ideas.
Sorry Martin. Do contact me on profcrichards@gmail.com
Do please have your voice heard. Complete the ABC (Alternative Big Consulation) on inspectionsurveymonkey.com/r/LQ7KG25
Judging from his comments at yesterday's Select Committee Martyn Oliver still doesn't fully recognise the full magnitude of the loss of the profession's confidence in Ofsted. His "reforms" are welcome but nowhere near sufficient.
Really? I find that unbelievable.
Is there such a thing as "negative professionalism"?
But who defines success? Your dedfinition may be very different from mine. Let' engage in discussion not in soundbites

Repost if BlueSky is now your primary social media site.
It should have happened much sooner.
What a naive question? There is no "right" progression, especially from a former member of Ofsted's problematic and now disbanded curriculum team.
How would anyone recognise "right" progression?
A pity such schools haven't confidence in their own judgments. Why is that ?
This is spot on. There's very little sense right now in this debate about the balancing of harms. There's the possibility of that balance altering with a change. But there's also clear harm now that isn't being reckoned with.
Yes. Education should involve continual dialogue including revisiting old isssues which were never satisfactorily resolved
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Of course it didn't. It never has and recent so-called "reforms" have made it even less likely. SEN CPD should be a statutory requirement for all teachers
The commission certainly needs to have a majority of serving teachers and be chaired by one.
Great!
A really interesting idea.
but reaching ten DEFENSIBLE AND EVIDENCED judgments is well nigh impossible in a day and a half.
