Its not a hot take but man the way the word "content" is used these days. A vile bit of late stage capitalist propaganda, lumping all forms of human creativity and expression into a single wastebin teaching the public to treat all art as disposable.
I actually don’t mind sharing my process via video. I was an art professor for many years… but that’s not the point…
I’d rather be making art than making content. And having to make both is exhausting.

I’ve had these for 3 years and worn them daily in the studio and on dog walks. The soles are so worn through on the heels that they create a suction when I walk. They will be missed.
A pair of absolutely destroyed Hoka sneakers. Not shown: the completely obliterated heel structure and the soles that are worn through to the inner.

To clarify- I’m not giving up on Fishbulb! I just need to start from scratch.
This is a draw over I did before tearing down the sculpture. I think I want to incorporate more human features to make it look more unsettling.
After drawing I feel better about going into Fishbulb Ver. 2.0
I’ve been sitting on Fishbulb for a couple of weeks now and it wasn’t looking right. I tried reworking him a few times… but eventually decided it was time for a total tear down.
