You're welcome!
Great photography, SaraG! ππ§ββοΈπ€
A pair of Killdeers. The one in front is standing on a log just above the water, the one behind is standing in shallow water. Both are angled away from the camera with heads turned to see what foolishness the photographer is up to.
Where you see one Killdeer, you can bet a second is nearby. #marriedcouples #birdoftheday #birds
A California Scrub Jay clinging to the side of a mossy tree trunk, almost like it's a woodpecker. Blurry branches and blue sky background.

I love it when they do this! Great photograph! I usually stay in on the road in my tracks and pray they didn't lay one in the gravel... They do lay them close to the road however and if you look close you might see them! Use your Binoculars. π§ββοΈπͺΆπ
A Killdeer in a defensive posture with its wings somewhat abducted and its tail spread making itself seem larger. It's angled towards the camera with its bill open. It blends in pretty well with the mixed grass and small plants that are sprouting around it.
A pair of Killdeers seems to be nesting near (I hope not on) a gravel road. I give them as wide a berth as possible, but they still don't like it. #birds #birdoftheday #grounded
A male House Finch standing on a wood fence rail with a beak full of dried grass. His back is to the camera and his head is turned in profile to the left. He has a very red head and a patch of red and orange feathers on his rump. He seems like a prize specimen.
Got in a walk at lunch and saw this handsome fellow with a beak full of nesting material. #finchfriday #birds
A Yellow-rumped Warbler perched on and peering around a twig. Twig has catkins blooming at the end. The colors of the twigs and catkins echo the colors of the bird. Background of larger branches and blue sky.

A Golden-crowned Kinglet in borb mode. It's perched in a fir tree looking toward but not directly into the camera. Its golden crown is clearly visible.
Adoraborb alert! This Golden-crowned Kinglet actually let me take some photos! I must've done something right today. π€·πΌββοΈ #birds #smallbirdsaturday #borb
This is a Magpie that has longer tail feather but I cropped them out for this shot. I wanted you to see those eyes staring at you! :) The bird is black and white and sits on a dead branch in a live tree. Depending on how the sun is striking the feathers depends on the colors. they are truly a beautiful bird.
Oh! He is so INTIMIDATING! π€πͺΆ

Americans are paying more for electricity, groceries, and housingβall because Trump's policies have driven costs through the roof.
Now Trumpβs illegal war with Iran is driving prices even higher.
That's not putting America first.

Thank you, Marie! ππ§ββοΈπ«Ά
I think my heart was beating as fast as the pheasants heart? He seems to like this particular corner in the countryside. He's staying out of the wind right here and let me enjoy him for longer than normal. So I moved on and left him there. πͺΆπ§ββοΈπ€
I'm glad you enjoyed them! ππ§ββοΈπ€

I don't mean to distract you but that odd bird out on the ground? Yeah, that's a sandhill crane joining the party! πͺΆππ§ββοΈπ€
Another Set of Swans with Mt. Putnam in the background.
You're Welcome and thank you very much! ππ§ββοΈπ€
Yes, that is what you are seeing, it's Mt. Putnam In SE Idaho. That Mountain sits on the Shoshone Bannock Indian Reservation. Me and the camera are in my tiny little car on the other side of the river from the reservation watching a winter wheat field full of Trumpeter Swans come and go! Heaven!ππ€
Thank you very much! ππ§ββοΈπ€
The wind was blowing pretty good and I'm tone deaf...LOL. But yes they was talking over in the field together and a little bit coming and going but not like when an entire flock takes off. They get real vocal when in distress and taking off in numbers. When they do trumpet they are so beautiful! π₯°
Thank you very much, Bev! ππ§ββοΈπ€
