You know where the name “Bruce” for a shark comes from? It’s not Nemo…

While I don’t think the answer will change, you asked the wrong question. Deliberations are them working through what they will write as the opinion. These were oral arguments.
I REALLY hope you meant 31
Ft. Meade has, I kid you not, an early childhood center, three elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school on-post.

I am curious on your take that it “incentivized platform irresponsibility“. Obviously, the publisher vs. distributor issue from CompuServe and Prodigy is the heart of it.
Judicious use of a sharpie…

I think you mean he doesn’t intend it as a joke. It is very much a joke…
Do I detect some snark? My point was we can’t let Trump’s enablers to deflect and say “that’s not what he meant“. This is why he got elected. His base really doesn’t realize he is an idiot. We need to always frame things as “yes, he is always an idiot, and this is another example.”
It’s not a nitpick. It’s a reframing. The way you said it was implying that in this one instance Trump was an idiot. My comment was Trump is always an idiot, but it does not get pointed out.
He didn’t make him “look like an idiot”, Powell just shined a light on this particular idiocy. The man IS an idiot and shows it often. He just has too many enablers who will agree with any stupid thing he says. That’s how they hide it in plain sight.
Maximizing your minimalism?
That wasn’t Carroll v. Trump (either case). In Carrol, Trump was found liable for defamation. The case where Trump was convicted was People v. Trump (criminal). That was the election interference case with Stormy Daniels. The Carrol verdicts currently stand and are on appeal.
because “flight risk” isn’t a thing under civil law. Only a sovereign government can bring a criminal action in the US. Also, she can’t be tried twice for identical things, so the Feds can’t touch her unless they find other crimes. Also, perjury is rarely brought, especially by itself.
Please, I beg you to stop and learn about the US legal system. The victims could sue her, and if she is found liable, not convicted because that doesn’t exist in civil law, the finder of fact can impose damages against her. Basically she will owe them $. She will not be held in prison… 1 of 2
Took you long enough… 🤪
This post hurts my brain in how wrong it is…if dufus pardons her, then she is completely free. That is our criminal system. If a state wants to try her, and she is convicted, then she goes to prison. Still criminal. Civil cases are about liability. You can’t be convicted in a civil trial.

There is something very cathartic about a fellow 40 something mom also banging her head against the table in distress and still willing to pick it back up and fight.
