I’ve come out of it though and I’m slowly building myself up despite the permanent eye issues and long lasting physical and mental damage that the stress did to my body. I am starting over completely

What followed next were TERRIBLE eye issues and a bunch of eye doctor visits, and then those made my mental health tank to the lowest it’s been in almost 20 years. That led me to some very bad places and I had to get professional help
