Anyway, you can read more about it (and even preorder it!) here.
And although preorders aren't really a thing in Iceland I have been informed that they are what make or break a book published in the US so apparently they are IMPORTANT.

Truly, no one has suffered the way I must this evening.

Hi, everywhere I look, it's Wrestlemania weekend so, let's be clear:
-WWE is no longer the only widely available pro wrestling brand
-They are still run by a family responsible for sexual assault, human trafficking, and covering those things up.
-They are professed enthusiastic partners of Trump.

6 panel comic P1: A crudely drawn guy stares at a phone with a vacant smile on his face P2: We are now looking at the phone screen. A video is playing, in which similarly crudely-drawn cat lies on their back P3: the POV closes in on the cat P4: Even closer. The cat's mouth opens, as they say "corporations are not your friend" P5: back to the full view of the screen, as the video ends P6: The guy continues to stare on with a vacant smile, as the POV pans back
Apparently, people still need to be reminded of this.
comic book artists should be paid
We need to keep lists of places that are ChatGPTing all help agents because I never want to buy anything from them again
There is *every* chance that we fund on backer 666, which would be *chef's kiss*
Help us get there, if not sooner!

If anyone wants to support a gay creator who’s had the roughest time with his career since the pandemic six years ago, I’d really appreciate some book sales

Don’t miss this one, folks. Runaway to the Stars is one of those rare comics that seem to just effortlessly live up to everything they’re trying to be and everything you hope to get out of them.
Rectangular comic panel showing an old timey urban street at night, lit by multiple lamps. A barricade has been erected across the middle of a street, and armed folks mill around. A teenager with a basket is calling out "Got more arrows!"

I like comics. This is no secret, and given that I write comics, it's probably a good thing I like them--I rarely enjoy things written by people who don't like the things they're writing. But "comics" is a medium, not a genre. You can do so much inside that one little word.
Interesting! Is that a term you've come across or something you're suggesting?
A Tom Gauld comic that quotes Søren Kierkegaard: Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.
A Sam & Fuzzy comic in which a cat escapes a trap laid by a lizard monster by breaking the fourth wall. Hard.
A comic featuring Mister Invincible. He uses sequence breaks between comic panels to solve crimes.
A Safely Endangered comic in which a character is trapped in an endless time loop, climbing from the end of the comic into the beginning and repeating the sequence forever.
#comics Bluesky, I need your help:
Is there a term for comics that play with format and sequence the way these examples do? If not, maybe we can come up with one?
