My first visit to University College Cork - such a beautiful campus!

At an N8 libraries Associate Directors meeting today in Liverpool and enjoyed seeing the new Library Garden in the Sydney Jones Library. Thanks to Joanne Fitton for showing us around.

I will be saying farewell to the University of Manchester Library soon and today I chaired my last meeting of my management team. They are such a talented and supportive bunch, and I know I leave things in very good hands.

This reminds me of that nice feeling when you show up to a pre-conference social [Bluesky] after a terrible train journey [Twitter] and there’s lots of familiar faces you’re glad to see again [you lot], all chatting away.
