Also signing as someone interested in this. 🙂 The easiest implementation imo is designating someone as the inheritor/emergency contact of a vault, and they can request access at any time. After some amount of time passes without being denied the request, they gain access.

Part of me wishes some of the loading screens could have been a little more varied than just a fade to black every time (like, keep me in first person with space outside obstructed with an FTL light show but never fade out), but it never really bothered me either. Think it's mostly the fact that it's not inherently designed to be a doomscrollable since attention isn't monetized (yet). There's not really an incentive to reward the things that...aren't so happy, which happen to be attention algorithm doomscroll material. Less, but more genuine interaction.

I've been meaning to @ you about this for a couple weeks cause I haven't seen anything about the new music being promoted and wasn't sure if you'd be able to say yes or no to being in the mix again. 😅 Really excited to hear it though!!

There was a sequel to it also on the GBC that only game out in Japan! It would be really cool to get an official translated release of it all these years later.

Basically what I want to see is thoughts from industry people (gamedev, game journos) I follow, and friends, and that's /it/. Bsky accomplishes that with being able to tune my feed to only that stuff. No stuff that's what the algorithm thinks I want to see on my feed unless I actively seek it out.
