@jamesgunn.bsky.social without giving away spoilers or sensitive info, how much can you tell re: how the DCU Clayface you've just cast relates to the one already seen (and heard speak) in Creature Commandos? Karlo? Hagen? Payne? Same design we saw or different? Who's Who in the DCU?

@evandorkin.bsky.social Rewatching DCAU stuff lately, the first Livewire episode of STAS got me wanting to ask you once & for all: was naming Leslie Willis a conscious tribute to the late, great Wesley Willis by you and/or Sarah? He DID whip Superman's ass. Rock over London, Rock on Chicago!

Thank you all for yet another perfect show. Life IS shit, and the world IS especially shit, but the Milkmen are always a much-needed respite!

I assume at the level of venues you are playing that there must be contracts and riders involved, yeah? That seems like the kind of thing that could be included in the contract with the venue, and that it is the booker/venue manager/whoever is on site's responsibility to enforce with the sound crew.

Batman towering over you, snapping the wooden stock of a shotgun in half with his bare hands as he says "This is the weapon of the enemy. We do not need it. We will not use it."

The shotgun is labeled - fragmented where it has been snapped in half - "AI (even if you're making fun of it)"

Why must we live in a nation whose legislature has the same rules as a fucking Mr Beast challenge?

Love to see totally normal and regionally expected environmental events like Tornado warnings at the Jersey Shore.

I'm so far past mincing words: the ignorant, stupid motherfuckers who voted for Trump thinking any of this was a good idea are legitimately ruining everything.

I also care about music. Some of my favorite musicians in the world are Canadian. If any of this bullshit makes it harder for them to come play in the US or for me to be able to travel to Canada to play or see shows, then that, too is more than enough reason to be outraged.

What I do care about is the fact that some of the people I love most in the world are Canadian and if any of this bullshit is going to make it harder to see the people I love, that's more than enough reason to be outraged.

I certainly don't care for the military-industrial complex and long for a day when all war machines are dismantled.

And yet things like trade wars have knock on ramifications.

End of an era for Canada-US ties, says Carney, as allies worldwide decry Trump’s car tariffs Canadian PM says Donald Trump has permanently altered relations, as countries around the globe insist import taxes are harmful to all, including Washington

My personal politics: I don't give a fuck about national borders or nations in general. I believe in free movement for all people worldwide as a human right. I don't give a fuck about trade relations or economics except for as they negatively impact poor people.

Shout out to the @democrats.org and their Blue Dogs on this Trans Day of Visibility for even considering having the gall to suggest that it was their half-assed support of trans people - not their full-throated support of genocide - that lost them the last election.

Every braindead MAGA right now is either running cover for Musk, clutching pearls over @laurajanegrace.bsky.social, or worshipping THIS GUY as their new god.

Watching MAGA learn who @laurajanegrace.bsky.social is in real time and that knowledge nuking their brains is really extraordinary to behold.

I don't wanna post links to Fox News or The Daily Mail or the New York Post, but I highly recommend seeking them out if you're a fan of pearl-clutching.

democrats won’t admit it, but my family’s economic outlook has gotten a LOT better since Trump took office. but what do i know? i don’t have a fancy economics degree, i’m just a regular guy who runs an airplane scrapyard

Well eggs are still more expensive than ever, but at least plane crashes have skyrocketed!

If you voted for/support Trump, you're either profoundly evil, profoundly stupid, or both.

McKinley never set foot in Alaska; naming that mountain after him was completely arbitrary. There is no coherent motivation to revert to that name other than appeasing what white Americans are "used to," at the expense of a gesture of respect to indigenous people. Red meat tossed to assholes.

It's so fucking ironic that the same guy who wants to stamp out "illegal immigration" wants to change the original name of the mountain Denali to what it was later named by immigrants. Remember, it's not who was on the land first, it's just white supremacy with these people.

Even The Clash start as a no-brainer for the 70s, but then again, London Calling was only out for a grand total of 17 days of the 70s (and wasn't even released yet in the US), so is that more of an 80s record? I get too hung up on details like this for my own good, ha

Damn, this is proving almost impossible for me, especially since a lot of my favorite artists straddle decades. Like my first instinct is to pick Wanda Jackson for the 50s, but some of my favorite songs of hers actually bleed over into the early 60s.
