When my fab SHO bakes a chocolate and Guinness cake as a thank you for helping out with something and it won’t fit in my bike bag for the journey home, my colleagues get lucky. Not only is she a really good anaesthetist and passed Primary written at the first attempt, she is also a superb baker.

That is the most marvellous name for him.
